In pronouncing their wedding vows, a man and a woman respond to God’s majestic summons by establishing a lifelong partnership. Preparation for marriage helps a couple receive God’s blessing so that they can love and honor each other forever.

Weddings are scheduled between six months and a year in advance at the Cathedral, depending on the availability of the church. The first step is for the couple to contact their local priest or deacon to begin the marriage preparation process. Once the priest or deacon has conducted the official prenuptial interview, a wedding can be scheduled.
